Societ\u00e0 delle Api presents Soglia \/ Common Acts<\/em>, an exhibition presented by Francis Offman featuring a selection of works from the Silvia Fiorucci Collection. The exhibition activates the space not only as a venue for display but as a sensory and relational environment, offering a perspective on the collection through the eyes of an artist who is part of it. In dialogue with works from the collection, a number of his previously unseen works will also be presented.<\/p>\r\n The exhibition brings together works by artists from different generations and geographies, all central to Silvia Fiorucci\u2019s collection, placing in dialogue practices that share a radical attention to material, gesture, and the dimension of the everyday.<\/p>\r\n The title Soglia \/ Common Acts<\/em> introduces a dual trajectory: on the one hand, the \u201cthreshold\u201d as a space of physical and perceptual transition; on the other, \u201ccommon acts\u201d as a set of ordinary and shared gestures\u2014never neutral\u2014that define the relationship between body, space, and artwork.<\/p>\r\n BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES<\/strong><\/p>\r\n Francis Offman<\/strong> was born in Butare (Rwanda) in 1987. He lives and works in Bologna. His practice combines painting, collage, and installation, using reclaimed materials such as paper and textiles. His works evoke memory, identity, and cultural stratification. Recent exhibitions include: Gihanga Institute of Contemporary Art (GiCA), Kigali (2025); Taxispalais Kunsthalle Tirol, Innsbruck (2025); Secession, Vienna (2025); American Academy, Rome (2024); La Societ\u00e0 delle Api, Munich (2024); Mead Gallery, Warwick Arts Centre (2024); Tate Liverpool, Liverpool Biennial (2023).
