Il laboratorio voleva essere uno spazio di creazione e lavoro aperto e inclusivo, capace di interagire con la comunit\u00e0 locale e di configurarsi come una piattaforma dinamica e soggetta a trasformazioni. Rikkert lo ha impostato come spazio interdisciplinare, destinato a fungere da luogo di lavoro per i futuri residenti della Societ\u00e0 delle Api a Kastellorizo.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La residenza prevedeva la partecipazione di uno scrittore o di un ricercatore, per analizzare e studiare insieme l\u2019economia locale, le sue transazioni e logistiche, e sperimentare nuove forme di scambio nell\u2019ambito della creazione artistica e della produzione culturale. La sua pratica mira a migliorare l\u2019ambiente sociale in maniera pratica, esplorando le possibilit\u00e0 offerte dai materiali di scarto e lavorando in contesti specifici e su commissione. Spesso questo approccio genera momenti inattesi, poich\u00e9 il lavoro dipende strettamente da ci\u00f2 che emerge nella vita urbana e rurale, e Rikkert deve trovare uno spazio di lavoro adatto dove trasformare ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 stato scartato in design.
