Libreria delle Api - presentation

Art support

May 10, 2025-April 22, 2026 – Venezia

Libreria delle Api found its first site of activation on May 9th at Palazzo Lezze-Michiel, the Venetian home of Silvia Fiorucci, gathering a community of friends, artists, and collaborators to inaugurate its evolving platform dedicated to ideas and exchange. Liberia delle Api – whose first two exhibited components are Polline 1 and Polline 2 – is a mobile, modular library designed by the interdisciplinary studio 2050+  , produced by Silvia Fiorucci and Società delle Api, commissioned in collaboration with MUCIV – Museo delle Civiltà in Rome, with a selection of books curated by NERO Editions. Each “Polline” serves as both a functional library and a host for tools, texts, and objects that challenge dominant narratives through a decolonial lens.

In December 2025, Liberia delle Api will be donated and relocate to MUCIV – Museo delle Civilà in Rome, where it will enter the permanent Collection of the museum, beginning a direct and ongoing dialogue with the Museum’s collections. This library reflects the very identity of Società delle Api, an organism devoted to the creation of fluid ecosystems and the cultivation of creative contaminations.
