'Soglia / Common Acts' Finissage: Talk with Francesco Manacorda and Francis Offman
September 17, 2026 – Rome
The exhibition Soglia / Common Acts will conclude with a finissage featuring a conversation between Francis Offman, artist and curator of the exhibition, and Francesco Manacorda, Director of Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, Artistic Director of the Fondazione Francesco Federico Cerruti per l’Arte ETS, and a member of the Advisory Board of Società delle Api.
The conversation will revisit the exhibition project conceived by Offman for Società delle Api’s spaces on Via Gregoriana, bringing his works into dialogue with a selection from the Silvia Fiorucci Collection. The discussion will explore the themes at the heart of the exhibition: the common acts that give the show its title, hospitality as a practice, the relationship between artwork, space and body, and the idea of the exhibition as a shared and relational experience.
The exhibition features a selection of works from the Silvia Fiorucci Collection in dialogue with a number of Offman’s previously unseen works. It activates the space not only as a venue for display but as a sensory and relational environment, offering a perspective on the collection through the eyes of an artist who is also part of it. Works by artists from different generations and geographies, all central to Silvia Fiorucci’s collection, are brought together in a dialogue between practices that share a radical attention to material, gesture, and the dimension of the everyday.
