Last August, the Moulin des Ribes welcomed artist and writer Allison Grimaldi Donahue, along with curator and art writer Alberta Romano.
During her time here, Allison entered a state of deep reading and worked on the latest project recently presented at museo Madre: “Safe with me: on letters from friends and lovers” a performative lecture in collaboration with the Società delle Api focused on the theme of the “letter, held on the occasion of the 21st edition of AMACI’s Contemporary Art Day. A dialogue – with the audience and with herself – that the artist carried forward through the reading of letters written by Tomaso Binga, Jacques Derrida, Emily Dickinson, and many others.
